Very popular radio system, produced from 1978 till 198 Excellent sensitivity, comfortable using, quality sound. Frequency range ??/SSB: 53530150 kHz, FM: 88108 MHz. Available BFO Pitch. Possible to connect external antenna. Also operates from eight D cells. The RF4900 is similar to the earlier RF4800, but with a green fluorescent digital display rather than a red LED digital display. AM and FM frequencies are digitally displayed. RF4900 has been sold outside the United States as the model DR49.
