How to Make Epson XP640, XP645 Chipless Printers
Step 1: Check Compatibility
,Make sure your printer can be modified to the Chipless Version before proceeding with the activation key purchase. To do this, follow the steps below.
Step 1:
,Download and extract the Zip archive with XP640, XP645 Firmware NK23I2 version.
Step 2:
,Connect your printer to a PC with Windows OS using a proper USB cable. Disable all Epson processes and services.
Step 3:
,Upload Firmware to the printer in NORMAL MODE. Run the EPFWUPD.EXE file and follow all steps until the Firmware is successfully uploaded to the printer.
What to do after uploading chipless firmware
,Once the firmware is uploaded successfully, you can proceed with the following steps. Purchase the Activation Key., Download the License.exe application (Windows only)., Run License.exe under Windows and press Activate Online button., Input the Activation Key and press Ok.
