Step 1: Download Firmware
,Download and extract the Zip archive with XP960, EP978A3 Firmware PL17I1 version.
Step 2: Connect Your Printer
,Connect the printer to a PC with Windows OS using a proper USB cable. Disable all Epson processes and services on your PC.
Step 3: Upload Firmware
,Upload the Firmware to the printer in normal mode by running the file EPFWUPD.EXE. Follow all steps until the Firmware is uploaded successfully.After uploading the chipless firmware successfully, check the version before proceeding. If the version is PL17I1, you can move on to the next step.
