StepbyStep Process:

Step 1: Download and extract the Zip archive containing the WFM5799dwf Firmware CR29LA version.

Step 2: Connect your printer to a PC (with Windows OS) using a proper USB cable. Disable all Epson processes and services manually or via WIC Reset Utility.

Step 3: Upload the Firmware to the printer in the NORMAL MODE by running the EPFWUPD.EXE file.

If the firmware update process is complete, check the current firmware version. If it is CR29LA, proceed to the next step. If not, restart the printer and try again.
